Alerts, push notifications, reminders, emails, calendar events, certificate-expiry notices, boarding reminders, medical reminders, travel reminders, and similar features may not be delivered or may be delayed, inaccurate, duplicated, or blocked. Users must maintain independent controls and verify critical dates directly with employers, clients, authorities, travel providers, and document issuers.

3. Schedule and Rotation Errors

Schedule, rotation, travel, mobilization, embarkation, disembarkation, leave, workday, and payroll information may be based on user entries and may be incorrect. Tide Ops is not responsible for missed flights, crew changes, shifts, boarding, payroll, assignments, or employment consequences caused by inaccurate, incomplete, or unavailable information.

4. Documents and OCR

Document storage and OCR features do not verify authenticity, legal validity, identity, competency, fitness, or acceptance. OCR and automated extraction can misread names, dates, numbers, providers, certificate details, and expiration dates. The user must review every field and maintain access to original documents.

5. Jobs and Recruitment

Jobs are references for informational purposes. Tide Ops does not guarantee that a posting is legitimate, accurate, complete, current, available, or suitable. Tide Ops does not guarantee contact, interview, hiring, immigration approval, compensation, safety, or working conditions and is not responsible for recruiter or employer conduct. Users should apply through and verify the original source.

6. News and External References

News, headlines, summaries, and links may come from external websites. They remain the responsibility of the original source. Tide Ops does not guarantee accuracy, neutrality, completeness, timeliness, licensing status, or continued availability and does not necessarily endorse the content.

7. User-Submitted Information

The user is solely responsible for information entered, uploaded, generated, selected, shared, or submitted through Tide Ops, including identity, professional qualifications, work history, documents, schedules, expenses, invoices, location, rates, tax records, and recipients. Users must have the right to use and share the information.

8. Reports, Invoices, Timesheets, and Expenses

Generated reports are drafts based on available data. They may not satisfy employer, client, accounting, payroll, contractual, tax, or legal requirements. Users must inspect and approve reports before submission. Tide Ops is not responsible for rejected, late, duplicate, inaccurate, or fraudulent submissions.

9. Currency and Financial Information

Exchange rates and converted amounts are indicative and may differ from bank, card, payroll, tax, contractual, or settlement rates. Tide Ops does not execute currency trades and does not guarantee any rate.

10. Location, Maritime Boundaries, and Tax Presence

GPS, manual positions, maritime classifications, territorial-water labels, country assignments, and presence reports may be inaccurate due to device limitations, mapping data, vessel movement, user entries, or legal definitions. Reports do not determine tax residence, seafarer status, deductions, immigration status, or maritime jurisdiction.

11. Service Availability and Data Loss

The Service may be interrupted by maintenance, outages, device failures, internet limitations, app-store restrictions, cyber incidents, force majeure, or third-party failures. Users should maintain independent backups of critical information. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be error-free or permanently available.

12. No Professional Relationship

Use of the Service does not create an employment, recruitment, agency, fiduciary, accountant-client, lawyer-client, medical-provider, tax-adviser, or other professional relationship with Tide Ops.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TIDE OPS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSSES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON ALERTS, SCHEDULES, JOBS, NEWS, USER DATA, DOCUMENTS, REPORTS, CALCULATIONS, EXCHANGE RATES, LOCATION RECORDS, THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, OR SERVICE AVAILABILITY. THE LIMITATIONS IN THE TERMS OF SERVICE ARE INCORPORATED INTO THIS DISCLAIMER.

14. User Confirmation

By using Tide Ops, the user confirms that critical professional, safety, medical, legal, financial, travel, tax, and employment obligations will be independently verified and not managed solely through the Service.
