Community and Content Policy

Rules for user content, listings, messages, links, and platform integrity

Effective date: July 10, 2026

1. Purpose and Scope

This Community and Content Policy applies to content submitted, uploaded, shared, displayed, linked, or communicated through TideOps, including profile information, documents, job listings, messages, feedback, comments, links, news references, images, and files.

2. User Responsibility for Content

Users are responsible for ensuring their content is accurate, lawful, non-infringing, and authorized. TideOps does not pre-approve or independently verify every item of user or third-party content.

3. Prohibited Content and Conduct

  • False, fraudulent, forged, altered, misleading, or impersonating content, including qualifications, certificates, IDs, work history, and job listings.

  • Content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, confidentiality, contractual, publicity, or other rights.

  • Harassment, threats, hate, discrimination, exploitation, sexual abuse, trafficking, or content promoting violence or illegal conduct.

  • Malware, phishing, credential theft, scams, pyramid schemes, fake recruitment fees, or suspicious payment requests.

  • Publication of another person's sensitive personal data without authorization.

  • Spam, mass solicitation, scraping, automated collection, or misuse of contact information.

  • Content that compromises vessel, project, employer, client, or national security, including restricted operational information.

4. Employment and Recruitment Content

  • Job information must not intentionally misrepresent the employer, role, location, pay, rotation, visa, start date, or requirements.

  • Users should not pay recruitment fees or provide sensitive data without verifying the recipient.

  • Third-party listings remain informational references and may change or expire without notice.

5. News and External Links

News and external links should identify or connect to the original source where practical. Users must not reproduce copyrighted material beyond what is permitted by law or license. Tide Ops may display headlines, short summaries, attribution, and links without endorsing the source.

6. Documents and Confidential Information

Users must not upload documents they are prohibited from storing or sharing. Before sharing passports, medicals, certificates, invoices, contracts, vessel information, or employer records, users should confirm the recipient and applicable confidentiality requirements.

  • TideOps may label, remove, suspend, or refer suspected fraudulent listings, but does not guarantee detection.

7. Moderation and Enforcement

Tide Ops may, but is not required to, review content or activity. We may restrict visibility, remove content, disable links, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or report matters where reasonably necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, or enforcement. Enforcement decisions may consider context, severity, repetition, and risk.

8. Reporting Content or Abuse

Users may report suspected fraud, infringement, abuse, privacy violations, or unsafe content through the in-app reporting function or by emailing contato@contupx.com.br. Reports should include enough information to identify the content and explain the concern.

9. Intellectual Property Complaints

Rights holders may submit a notice identifying the protected work, the disputed content, contact information, a good-faith statement, and any legally required declarations. Add a designated DMCA agent and formal notice procedure before launch if the Service will host user-generated content in the United States.

10. Appeals

Where appropriate and legally required, affected users may appeal a content or account decision by contacting us with relevant facts. Tide Ops may maintain or reverse the decision after review.

11. No Endorsement

The presence of user, employer, recruiter, training-provider, news, or third-party content does not constitute Tide Ops endorsement, certification, verification, sponsorship, or recommendation.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to address new features, risks, legal requirements, or community standards. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate.
